The G.P. Ranch is located in Valley Springs, CA. The G.P. Ranch consists of two independent homes, the host house and the guest house. The two-story host house on the left and the guest house on the right. The property has a beautiful view of the valley. At the ranch, there are horses, a pig and at times other animals. Adults and children can feed the animals, take walks, ride bikes, fish or visit nearby lakes in the area, etc. Within a relatively short ride, there are many fine wineries and restaurants. There is a beautiful complete golf course about one mile from the ranch. Special party arrangements (5 days before the stay) can be made upon request , to include a 10 person in-door hot tub. Your dogs: They are free to roam off leash. Our property is fenced but not secure if a dog really wants to escape. We find most dogs off leash just like to run in the grass. Your dogs can swim in the pond and the pool. If your dog is off leash you must keep an eye on them :) (Do NOT let them wander unsupervised) SUPER IMPORTANT: Do not let your dogs harass our cats, horses or goats. (It is normal for a dog to bark a few times at a horse/goat/cat but if it is trying to get to the horses or goats through the fences then you need to not take it close to the fence) Same with cats- do not let your dogs chase our cats- if they chase please keep them on the leash for the entirety of your stay. Having said all of that, 95% of dog owners do not even need to be told all of the above. Unfortunately, we have had some clueless dog owners so we are now are as upfront as possible with all doggie rules. Other occasional wildlife include deer, ducks, cranes, geese, wild turkeys, pheasants, otters, muskrats. Ducks and cranes are more common. Geese, wild turkeys and pheasants are seasonal. You will occasionally hear coyotes off in the distance at night. ***Spring and summer brings LOTS of wildlife. Especially summer! We have LOTs of birds- we once had a bird specialist randomly come stay with us and tell me all the different types of birds we have here...oh how I wish I would have written them all down. Or perhaps you know about birds and can help me categorize them? :) Fish: We have a 2 acre pond full of bass fish- fish as much as you want we just ask that you catch and release Kids over 12 are Welcome: This is a great property for kids to roam and experience semi ranch life. There is A LOT of water here. The pond is about 2 acres and there is a pool. About us: We are entrepreneurs and live in the main house on the property. We have an office that is 2 miles away and Dori goes there to work a lot. We are more than willing to be friendly and socialize or give you complete privacy. Meredith tries to do all noisy ranch chores during checkout hours :) Things to Know Before You Come: Secluded: We are 20 minutes away from a real grocery store so make sure to stock up before you come. There is gas station 2.5 miles away that has snacks and basic items. We keep tea and coffee and standard kitchen items stocked in the cottage. Connectedness: We have Wifi. Cell service is not very good. (Just a grade above terrible::) You can stand in certain places to get better signals but Wifi is best here for communication. PLEASE NOTE: the Wifi might go out while you are here and it might even take 24 hours to get it fixed- we do not have utility services here like in big city- aka things happen slower here! Update- it could even take 1 week to get fixed as we just had an event occur where the internet was down for an entire week. This seems to happen about once a month. We have guests here pretty much every night so if it does happen while you happen to be here we apologize in advance and we always work to get it up as fast as possible. Sometimes it's things like the olive branches needing to be trimmed out of the way of the beam! Most guests take it in stride and will do other things besides being online, however we have had some guests be very upset about this so we want to just give a heads up that this IS a possibility during your stay :) Ranch Life: The guest house is luxurious but this is a ranch with animals and wildlife and dirt and bugs :) Please bring appropriate attire to fully enjoy the ranch life. Please bring bug spray Seasons: Spring: Lots of green and flowers by June it is usually very warm Summer: July and August are HOT- bring your swimsuit or just relax in the air conditioned cottage and on the back deck. We can't over emphasize hot! AKA you will be in the pool or inside the entire day. It will cool off by 9pm Fall: lots of fall colors and starting to turn green when the first rains come. Cooler weather. Great time for wine tasting! Winter (November to March): A lot of rain and it can be soggy so bring boots. The rain makes the grass green but there are not as many flowers as in the summer. We enjoy a lot of fires in winter (Guest House is fully heated and air-conditioned and has a gas fireplace.) We certainly have all seasons here although it does not snow. We also make our own olive oil. If you are super interested, we can arrange for you to go one ranchette over to see the olive trees, do a tasting and talk to my 85 year old Dad about his trees :-) (he often wins gold at the prestigious Los Angeles International Olive Oil Competition- lol he is very modest so he wouldnt tell you but we will- its a BIG deal as its the #1 competition in the US and the fifth in the world) Tour is $100 per tour and includes a bottle of olive oil.

TINY HOUSE: Completely separate from the main house. (Approximately 100 yards away in the back end of property WITH THE HORSES!) It's the perfect place for a couple or single to relax and recharge :) Property: 10 acre Ranchette with a pond, pool, gazebo, walking trails and firepits. We are at the end of a dead end road and the back of our property borders 440 acres of county owned pasture land. All of the roads to get here are paved. We also have another guest house on the property that we rent via Airbnb. Dori and Meredith live in the main house on the property. Blue Sky is a stunning, custom-built retreat secluded on 20 private acres. Surrounded by nature, this peaceful hideaway includes deluxe accommodations with swimming pool and a hot tub. There is a large deck creek side that offers access to a freshwater swimming hole and spectacular views of the creek and waterfalls. Two recliners and comfortable couch make this a great reading/napping room as well! Master Suite 3 – has a queen bed. Beautiful hand hammered tin mirror decorates the private bath with tub and shower. Offers two comfortable chairs and good size closet. Studio – queen sized sleeper sofa with giant flat screen TV with Direct TV DVR. Private door leads to outside decks with access to the hot tub. Just across the hall from serene outdoor sitting area. Living/room and kitchen – the heart of this home is the living room/kitchen area at the center of the house. A wood-burning fireplace adds ambiance and warmth in the winter. Ceiling fans and central air keep things cool in the summer. There is a music system connected to Bose speakers both inside and outside the house. There is a large collection of CD’s for your listening enjoyment or you can connect your IPOD. The large, functional kitchen has tile counter tops and is equipped with a gas range, stainless refrigerator, dishwasher, microwave, TV and all the small appliances and utensils you need. The many windows offer spectacular views of the hills and outdoors. A custom bird feeder is located just outside the kitchen windows and draws dozens of wild birds. There is another bathroom on this level. The dining room is adjacent to the kitchen and offers a sweeping view of the outdoors. Outdoors: Large in-ground, solar heated (in the summer) swimming pool with wet bar, refrigerator, hot tub, and dartboard. There is a separate bathroom poolside and an outdoor shower. There is a charcoal BBQ with gas ignition and several outdoor tables and chairs for entertaining. The Casita, a detached richly appointed private studio, is just a few steps up the hill from the Villa. The one large main room has bamboo floors, marble bar, full size pool table, giant flat screen TV with Direct TV DVR and surround sound. There is a gas “wood” stove, air conditioning and ceiling fan, lots of natural light and windows that open and are screened. There is queen sofa bed and a daybed with pop up trundle that can be used separately as two singles or together as one king. The fully tiled bath with shower has an on demand endless hot water heater. The kitchen comes with all the basic kitchenware, 4-burner gas range, refrigerator/freezer, microwave and coffee maker. The front of the Casita opens to a huge deck with table for outdoor dining while the back leads to a fenced rose and organic vegetable garden. Please note: We do not allow large groups, gatherings or special events on the property. We limit the number of guests at any time to 10. Welcome to your home away from home! This is a lovely 3bdr, 2 bath country style home with a splash of modernity that is located within short distance to downtown historic Sutter Creek. The fully furnished living spaces are open and inviting and is great for entertainment or relaxation. Enjoy the green pasture from the living and dining room or relax by the pool while taking in the fresh country air. The sunsets are spectacular in the evenings. The kitchen was recently renovated and new hardwood floor was installed throughout the house. The decor and furniture reflects our vision of incorporating new and refurbished materials to create a country living feel. The master bedroom has a queen size bed and private bathroom. The second bedroom also has a queen size bed and the third has two twin beds. There are additional air mattresses to accommodate additional guests. Guest will have access to the entire house, including the pool, except for the garage. We welcome all guests to stay at our place, including family with young children, however, the pool is not gated so we asked that parents exercise great caution and watchful of their children around the pool. We want to make our guests' stay safe and welcoming for all. For guests who loves to cook, our kitchen is fully stocked. Make yourself a home and feel free to use the use the spices, oil, cooking utensil, etc. You're also welcomed to use the grill and we only ask that you to clean up the grill after each usage. The house is located in a quiet and serene neighborhood. Public transportation is limited in Sutter Creek. We recommend renting a car so that you can fully explore the beautiful lakes, rivers, hiking trails, and hidden gems at the foot of the Sierra Foothill or take a day trip to the beautiful Lake Tahoe (about 1.5 hours away) or explore the bountiful wineries in Amador or San Jaoquin valleys. If you're staying on the weekend, check out Jackson Rancheria Casino for their famous seafood buffet. Don't forget to check out Gold Dust Pizza in downtown Sutter Creek. The restaurant has excellent pizza and chicken wings. It is an excellent place to have beer, wine, and pizza all year-round. The backyard is a great place to hang out during the summer and fall because it's located right next to the creek. Don't forget to check out the handful of wine tasting room We don't have lot of do's or don't do's. We simply asks our guest to respect our place and treat their home away from home as if it's their own home. Please take great care of the place by not leaving hot cups, plates, etc. on the table without a coaster. We don't ask for security deposit because we trust that our guests will be responsible. Also, please be respectful to our neighbors by not having loud music or conversations after 10 pm. Due to our City Lic. we are not allowed to have guest park in the street, or in front of other homes. Only in the driveway. Only two cars allowed per reservations. Please note: That if more cars other then two is reported the city will revoke our city lic. Please respect the rule. The City of Sutter Creek also imposes a 10% hospitality tax. For our guest's convenience, washer and dryer are available for stays of 4 days or more. Captain’s Cottage is a tastefully decorated three bedroom, one bathroom furnished cottage located in a quiet and peaceful residential area in Ione. A few blocks away is the town of Ione. It features a laundromat, food market, pizza, and restaurants. We are close to the Ione Castle that towers over most of Ione. Nearby are Plymouth, Jackson, and Sutter Creek, as well as many wineries, Castle Oaks Golf Course, and Black Chasam Caverns. Our own captain loves Lake Amador, Lake Pardee and Lake Camanche all located here in Ione Captains Cottage is tastefully decorated in a nautical Cape Cod style, that invites peaceful relaxation. We have a home full of towels, and blankets. There is a small library of books on the subject to enjoy. Internet and Roku with Netflix for your viewing pleasure. BBQ your favorite dinner or sit back and enjoy the delightfully decorated patio. 3 separate bedrooms offer comfort and privacy. A max of 6 people at all times. A fully equipped galley (kitchen) . We have a charming 2 bedroom/ 2 bathroom house that was once an original gold mining cabin, walking distance to the well-preserved historic downtown. We also have a detached outbuilding that serves as an office and has a 1/2 bath accessible from the pool area. The fully furnished indoor and outdoor living spaces are perfect for entertainment or relaxation. Enjoy the large recently remodeled backyard complete with swimming pool, as well as the highest speed internet available to easily handle your virtual and distance learning requirements. For guests who love to cook, our kitchen is fully stocked, with anything you might need to make a fantastic meal. Make yourself at home and feel free to use the spices, oils, condiments, smoker pellets, etc. If you use a little, no problem. If you use a lot or it’s running low, please replace it. You're also welcome to use the grill, we only ask that you leave it clean and replace the smoker pellets when necessary for the next guest to enjoy. We have a detailed binder outlining everything you need to know about the house, how to make things work, and all the nearby attractions, including 11 wine tasting rooms and a draft house just a short walk away. A lockbox containing the keys is installed on the side porch, the code will be provided shortly before our arrival. Other things to note: We will be on a family RV adventure and would prefer to have one long term booking for the duration of our trip to reduce turnover. We will provide a 30% discount for stays of at least 30 days, 40% off for 60 days or more. Our dates are flexible, so we can coordinate what works best for you. Feel free to message me. The City of Sutter Creek requires homeowners to collect a 12% "transient occupancy tax" for all stays 30 days or less. Please consider booking at least 31 days to avoid this tax. A Great Home in a Resort-Like Setting This gorgeous 4-bedroom/3-bathroom, split-level home has a fabulous view of the Calaveras River and expansive oak-covered hills and is located in private, one-of-a-kind settings. It has a combination of hardwood floors (living room, dining, stairs and landing and tile (lower stairs and entryway) and plush carpet (in the four bedrooms) for you to enjoy. Three discrete redwood balconies circle the top level of the home furnishing nearly a 360-degree view of the surrounding country. The wrap-around deck about the swimming pool is also a good place to repose after a day’s activity and drink in the rustic grandeur that abound the home: the mountains, a plethora of birds (including a flock of wild turkeys), deer and other animals, and the lap of green and a carpet of flowers along the foothills (during the winter and spring seasons, golden grass during the summer), the drooping mature oaks, the free form in-ground Geremia pool, the 20-by-20-foot covered gazebo and fenced garden with sprinklers and drip irrigation. It is a sprawling aqua mass, covering 53 miles of shoreline, and bounding 12 square miles of water at a depth of 150 feet. It is pleasantly calm and beautiful to behold with its backdrop of the rolling hills and the sky-touching mountains beyond. It is great for fishing and boating and is open all year-round with several picnic areas and campgrounds. LAKE MELONES--A 30-minute drive from the house, Lake Melones has more than 100 miles of shoreline and is hugged by oak-studded foothills and rugged river canyon cliffs and is the located between Senora and the historic, gold-mining town of Angels Camp. It is a great place for boating, fishing, and camping, if you do not have your own, you can rent patio or houseboats for an afternoon excursion or week-long enjoyment. LAKE TULLOCH-–Located south-east of Valley Springs, at a distance of about 20 miles from the house, Lake Tulloch contains great shoreline with many alcoves, stunning table mountain ranges with a sparse population of mature oak trees. You can relax and enjoy the beautiful views of the valley in your own 1150 sq. foot 2-bedroom guest house complete with a full kitchen, living room with a wood stove fireplace, smart TV, WiFi, desk, private bath and deck with a grill. Relax by the private pool during the summer months. You will be surrounded by nature, peace & quiet. We have your health and well-being in mind at our mountain retreat cottage. Our luxurious, ultra-comfortable beds meet rigorous standards that minimize off-gassing. They are made without harmful chemicals such as formaldehyde, heavy metal and certain flame retardants. All the linens and towels are all certified organic cotton. We love that our guest house is dog friendly. Please review the dog policies (below) and understand that there is a $20 per day per dog (limit 2) additional fee. if you bring your dog(s) you must agree to the house pet (dog only) policy via the messaging system before booking. There is a $20 per day per dog additional fee. No more than 2 dogs allowed. The pool is available for your private enjoyment during the summer months. It is heated by the sun so the temperature of the water is dependent on the weather. (see pool rules below). There is also a grill on the private deck overlooking the valley. Infants and children are most welcome. We do not have a crib or pack n play for infants. We will take out or put away anything you feel they might get into or result in injury. There is a brick setting around the fireplace. I have extra blankets and pillows that can be placed around it for safety. I also have metal fencing to prevent injury from the wood stove if you make a fire in it. We do charge a cleaning fee but ask that you leave the guest house as it was when you arrived. We do an in-depth cleaning and disinfecting. Any way you can help us is greatly appreciated. We ask that the dishes and kitchenware are cleaned and the place tidy. There are cleaning supplies (and a vacuum for dog hair) in the hall closet and under the kitchen sink in case of any spills or excessive dog hair shedding. Used towels and the robes (if used) can be placed in the laundry basket in the bathroom closet. We will also change the linens on the beds. Additional house rules No loud partying or music is allowed. This is a peaceful, tranquil neighborhood and we ask you to respect that. The pictures in the house are for sale. They were taken by local photographers of the beautiful surrounding scenery. If you take any pictures of them they may not be reproduced. No outdoor fires allowed Pet Policy We love dogs here but there are some basic rules that we need you to agree to so that there is no misunderstanding for the care of our guest house and property. As I mentioned above, we are so happy to accept pets as we have always appreciated places we could go to with our furry babies. There are 2 dog beds that have removable covers that we wash after we have had pets here. Also, we have 2 dog dishes for food and a larger dish for water. No more than 2 dogs are allowed and you agree to the $20 per dog per day extra fee. You agree to pay at the time of booking through the reconciliation process. 1. You agree to pay for anything that gets damaged. (We have this rule because we have had the screen in the screen door to the deck patio completely pushed out and torn from dogs charging through. The entire door had to be re-screened.) 2. You confirm that your dog(s) is/are potty trained. 3. You confirm that your dog(s) is/are trained to NOT mark in the house. 4. You confirm that you dog(s) is/are human and pet friendly. 5. You agree on arrival to let your dog(s) go on the grass before bringing it/them inside. Leashes required. 6. Dogs barking outside for extended periods is not acceptable and you must insure they quiet down. All dogs bark occasionally, including mine when. You agree to this responsibility. 7. You agree to cover the furniture with the sheets provided if you cuddle with your dog(s) when sitting on the furniture. 8. You agree to cover the comforters on the beds with the sheets provided if your dog(s) sleeps with you. Please make sure you spread these out right away if they like to jump up on the beds. 9. The white towels in the bathroom are for humans only. There are towels for dogs and muddy feet as you enter in the laundry room cupboards if it rains or you visit one of the nearby lakes. You agree to make sure you clean their feet before letting them in the main area. 10. You agree to report any accidents so I can ensure they are cleaned up properly and do not encourage future guest’s dogs to pee there. 11. You agree that your dog(s) must be on a leash at all times outside of the fenced in play area. This is for your dog’s safety and the safety of the wildlife. 12. If your dog(s) sheds a lot of hair you agree to vacuum to keep up with the shedding. (there is a Dyson vacuum cleaner in the hall closet.) 13. You agree that your dog(s) may not be left on their own unless they are left in the main entrance laundry and hall area with all the doors closed and acknowledge that they do not do any damage when left alone. There is a sliding door between the main area and hallway. They may be left in the outdoor fenced dog agility area if you think they will not escape. They must be used to being left outdoors and not bark continually. You will be contacted if this happens and you agree to come take care of them. 14. You agree to pick up all dog poop on the lawn, pool area and in the fenced agility yard and discard in the designated can. -No candles inside or out (I have an essential oil diffuser and some oils available) - No fireworks or sparklers. -This is a non-smoking and drug-free property. Smoking inside the house or anywhere on the property will result in the loss of the security deposit. No illegal drugs are allowed at any time. -No daily maid service. Plenty bath towels are provided, but daily maid service is not provided. A free washer and dryer is on site if you wish to wash your bed linens. For stays of 7 nights or longer, we will arrange to have our cleaning service visit at a time that is mutually convenient, however there is an additional fee of 75.00. We do not permit towels or linens to be taken out of the guest house. Swimming pool rules: -No jumping or diving from the cement (only the diving board), running, rough play, or glass in the pool area. Snacks are allowed as long as you clean up before you leave the pool area. -Pool floats are available. If you choose to use them you must agree to pay the replacement price if they get damaged. The 2nd bath is directly across the hall with a full size tub and shower combo and double sinks. Our 3rd bedroom offers a bunk bed with a full bed on the bottom and twin bed on top. It is ideal for the young or just young at heart. This room has toys and games for all ages that include LEGO’s, puzzles, action figures and barbies. This room also has a smart tv and DVD player with lots of movies to choose from. At the end of the hall is a bookshelf from adult novels to baby books, and lots of genres for in between. For the kids outside enjoyment there is a redwood playset with a slide and swing with an assortment of toys that include a power wheel, ride on toys and Tonka trucks to dig around with. With it best to stay at “home”, we have you covered to have a fun and memorable time at the Ranch! We have been adding games inside and out that can be played as a group, and we continue to add more! We currently have; • Corn Hole • Ladder Ball • Adj Basketball Hoop with Basketballs •Dartboard on the back deck • Horseshoe Pit (beginning of August) The inside is full of group board games, Twister, poker with chips, dice, dominoes and dvds of all your favorites and even trivia games to test your knowledge as you go! The Ranch is located on 5 acres and we have trails started to get your heart rate up or to just take a casual stroll. Only a 10 to 20 minute drive to enjoy the recreations or just the scenery of 3 lakes; Camanche, New Hogan and Pardee. These lakes offer award winning fishing, multiple hiking trails and plenty other water activities. Numerous wineries surround the area as well, unfortunately all the tasting rooms are closed at the moment. Whether you want to explore the area or you want to make the ranch your vacation in itself, this is an ideal place to reconnect with your family or friends and for adults and kids to truly “play”!

Located in Calaveras County just outside of Mokelumne Hill & Mountain Ranch gold country our Cozy Cabin offers 5.5 acres of an outdoor escape to enjoy your drink of choice next to a warm camp fire or inside next to the wood burning stove. Unplug from the screen and enjoy family time over a board game or hand in cards. Cell towers provide internet access, but there is no WIFI. Cabin is small, but offers ALL needed accessories; kitchen supplies, campsite amenities like fire starter, smores sticks and choice of Weber or gas grill, Mr coffee pot with filters and sugar, several family activities both outdoor and indoor to unplug from technology like books, puzzles, magazines or just zone out in the peaceful environment and watch the wildlife come to eat and drink. There is a TV with DVD movies to select from and there is a cell tower nearby for cell service, so that you'll still have contact to the outside world. There is also a projector for outdoor movie watching. The property is in the heart of the Butte Fire that passed through back in 2015. You’ll see first hand just how close the fire came to so many homes and marvel at the regrowth over the past years. The property itself is an adventure. Our property goes back another 2.5 acres behind the top sitting area that’s being cleared from the fires you can explore. We have one campsite on the property that has it's own fire ring and private location for tent camping, but just a bridge over the creek walk to main sitting area, outdoor shower/porta potty and parking for extra vehicles around the cabin. Inside the cabin: One queen size bed and one full size blow up mattress with bedding provided. Dog bed, electric heater, wood burning store, wrap around table that can sit 4-6 guests, stove, microwave and small refrigerator or ice box and extra small cooler for storing drinks or going for a drive. All you need are groceries and we have a store on the way you can do that on the way called Senders. Where you’ll find local wines, big ribeye steaks cheaper than the Bay Area, Deli with great sandwiches and anything you can think of they have it plus the extra nik nak if you wanted a souvenir. We really love this place and come up every other weekend to clean, split wood, clean fallen trees and enjoy the nature. We try to keep the price low, so others can also enjoy getting away too. We just ask that you treat it like your home too ??
